Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish for "Rosalia") is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. From her teens, Rosalia Vila has been a participant in pop music and flamenco. Her music also strays into various genres, including hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice has been said by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet and with a bite that is similar to older versions. El Mal Querer is her second album that was released in 2018, which was critically and commercially successful. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, received an Latin Grammy for Best New Artist and earned the Latin Grammy nod. In 2021, her song La Fama with The Weeknd was released. Motomami was a collaboration with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake and others. The album was released in March 2022 after the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia did her solo performance on the show for the very first time ever on the program. As well as winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded the Latin Album of the Year twice.
