MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected through his worldwide impact. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) was awarded the Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. In 2017, he released ADN the first of his long-players for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It was atop the Top Latin Albums chart, it ranked no. 8. The following year, he joined forces with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. He dropped Dopamina, his chart-topping second album, in the following year. Then in 2021 he sang an duet with TINI's smash streaming track Maldita Foto. In 2023, he appeared on 2000, which included the hit single La Bachata. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his elder brother and mom are both musicians. In interviews, Turizo has stated that music is an essential part of his life. In his childhood he was taught to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. Though his original career plan was that of veterinarian His brother Julian convinced him to try learning to sing with an instructor in Cuban. The lessons transformed his life forever.
