Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a family with a strong musical background. She spent the majority of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic tunes and older classical songs. Ana is a fan of tangos. Also, she loves operas, and every form of theatrical performance. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she started more intense singing lessons by Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera singer and tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was a member of many chamber and opera choirs. After 2000, she emigrated back to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo in a variety of private occasions. Ana is involved in a variety of local projects and is a teacher and performer because of her love for art and music. Ana was also a member of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher of The Performance Loft. Ana loves to sing classic Latin American songs and hopes to inspire others to do the same.
